Cats......

I thought I'd introduce you to the cats.....
Here's Dennis - the old boy. Adorable - but getting into more mischief now. For example this morning he managed to get himself stuck in the gate and had to be rescued by myself and a neighbour. He's very sociable - with everyone and everything. As he's very deaf now he wails lots but shuts up as soon as you pick him up.

Fluff isn't quite as old as Dennis - but is getting there. She really is a ball of Fluff - hence the name. In spite of her age she still has silly sessions - chasing her tail and rolling about in the grass on her back.

Flo is the new edition. Only 5 months old. She may look cute here but don't be fooled - she can be a real terror. She is still running up to the top of the curtains, swinging - but as I don't like the decor I really don't tell her off too much. She has the occasional moment of sanity - perhaps one a day. I think her main problem is she has too much energy and can't burn it off. I wish I had the same problem.

I promise I'll post about quilting related things next time.

Cats are good...don't worry about posting about them. I love them as much as I love quilting...really they go hand in hand, don't they? Dennis looks like a sweetheart; a cat that loves a cuddle...how wonderful. Fluff looks quite prim and proper...hard to imagine her being silly...and Flo has a mischievous look in her eye..as do all kittens. I bet they really make your house a home. Thanks for sharing :o)
Speaking of cats...look at this link http://bertc.com/uselessCat.htm being a cat lover, I thought you'd like it. TTFN

Dennis...

...well unfortunately Dennis died last month. Although we were very upset at the time we realise he had a very happy long life (18 years) and he spent his last day in the garden sunning himself . Everyone who came to the house met him - whether they wanted to or not; he was very friendly . So here are a last few photos of him looking like the fat happy orange cat that he was...

How exciting

Hello all. I had a very nice e-mail yesterday telling me I was in October's British Patchwork & Quilting magazine as their featured blog of the month. And yes I'm there on page 68. A very nice surprise as I had no idea my little old blog would make a national publication. So if any of you are looking at my blog for the first time please do leave a comment - I'd love to hear from you.
